MULTNOMAH FALLS

Dylan and I hiked up to the top of Multnomah Falls today!

I have never hiked all the way to the top... It was so fun!

Robin, Maria & I try to go out once a week and try a new restaurant!

This week Emma and I headed down to Paragon to meet up with Robyn and Maria for "Yappy Hour", an event put on by the Oregon Humane Society.

Such a good girl!

Dylan and I have attended 3 Oregon Humane Society events this month and these big Bullies have been at all of them! They are the most calm dogs you have ever seen!

It was a fun event and Paragon had great food!

At the end of the evening 2 dogs were even adopted...

a wonderful way to end the night!

BECKY'S BIRTHDAY!

Tonight was Becky's birthday at Who Song & Larry's!

It was great to see the birthday girl who just moved back to Oregon from the East Coast.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

We spent the weekend in Cannon Beach!

along with working.... we managed to help my parents and find some fun things to do!

The weather could not have been better! Saturday and Sunday we went for walks to watch the great sunsets. We have a loop around Chapman Point we usually walk. Its has nice views and is a very quite road for our doggies!

Sunday we got our shell fish licences to be able to clam on Monday morning in Gearheart.

We were not able to get our limits... but were going back next weekend to get some more.

EMMA & JACKSON WILL BE ART

A few months ago SOLV had an online auction to raise money. I was the high bid on an original piece of art of your pet!

Tonight we met with the artist Kellee Beaudry. We now have to pick out a favorite photo of Emma and Jackson.... The process will take about 6 weeks. I will fill you in on the works of art in the coming weeks =)

NO POWER!

On our way home from the Pug Crawl we noticed a fire west of hwy-217. It almost looked like it was right by our house... IT WAS!! A substation caught on fire about 1/4 mile from our house. The roads were super busy from the power being knocked out in the area. Which resulted in all the stop lights not working....
When we finally made it home we raced around to gather a radio and flashlights.
OOOHHHH...... Excitement in the suburbs!!!

About 3 house later the power came back.

PUG CRAWL 2009

Today we went to the Pug Crawl in NW Portland. We had a blast seeing all the dogs dressed up but with the temperature in the 80's we were only able to stay for about about an hour.
Emma and Jackson made a lot of friends and sniffed a lot of tail... lol!!!
Jackson was (in his parents eyes) the HIT of the party!! He was surprisingly the only Pug in a BLAZER jersey.... Everyone wanted a photo of him! We named him for the day B. ROY PUG!!
